Pack 2842 Spring Blue and Gold / Camping Extravaganza 2021

  • Saturday Dinner and Sunday Breakfast Provided

  • Fee is $5 Per camper (this will pay for dinner and breakfast)

Need to know information

  • Dinner will be provided on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. We will have drinking water, but please bring extra water (there is no running water) and snacks. You can camp overnight on Saturday night. Or, just come for the afternoon, dinner, and campfire.

  • Meal Plans are as follows (if you have additional dietary needs, please prepare accordingly) :

      • Sat. Dinner: hotdogs, potato chips, baked beans, and raw veggies (carrots, broccoli, grape tomatoes, celery).

      • Sat. Dessert: smores. B

      • Sun Breakfast: Oatmeal, fruit (bananas apples), and donut holes.

  • You need to fill out the registration form and the Annual BSA Health & Medical Record for EVERYBODY that will be participating. The Annual BSA Health & Medical Record is good for one year. Download and Print the Annual BSA Health & Medical Record here.

  • If you are staying overnight, you must complete the Youth Protection Training. Once you have completed your training please send your certificate to trainer2842@gmail.com.

  • All camping items (tents, sleeping bags, flashlights, pillows, extra blankets, etc.) are supplied by the camper. Please remember if it is cold to bring something warm to sleep in (hats, warm socks, etc.). All tents are family only. If you need any camping essentials, please email scottnista@gmail.com (some extra tents/sleeping bags are available)

  • The bathroom facilities are latrines by our campsite. The pack provides one roll of toilet paper in each stall, but please bring your own, just in case it is all used. There are no sinks or running water. You may want to bring wipes. The pack does supply hand sanitizer back at the campsite.

  • One of the activities that we will be participating in is fishing. If you have your own fishing gear, please bring it. The pack has only a few fishing rods that can be shared. The pack will provide bait but feel free to bring your own.

  • The campsite opens at 3:00 pm on Saturday and closes at noon on Sunday. There is parking at or nearby the campsite.
